Here at St Nic's we are proud of our links to our village church 'St Nicolas church' in the heart of our little village of Downderry. We use our church every week as part of our collective worship and it is an extension of our school and very much a part of school life.
We work closely with the Diocese who support our school and our children.
The Eco schools activity day at Truro Cathedral run by the Diocese empowered our Eco Committee to connect with other church schools across the county and to learn new skills!
Our children were lucky enough to be part of the service to welcome Bishop David. It was an absolute honour to be part of!
We love to celebrate Harvest Festival in the church with Reverend Jo. We performed and worshipped and collected for The Food Bank.
We enjoyed choosing our tree for Christmas. Thank you to our PTA for donating the money. It was the most beautiful tree we had ever seen!
Our wonderful Junior Worship Team led our Christingle Service with Reverend Jo in the church. It was a truly special candle moment and everyine felt spiritually nourished afterwards and ready for Christmas!
